God’s waiting room

I seem to be running into so many people lately that are in a position of…… waiting.

They are waiting for God to answer their cry’s for help. Waiting for God to bring them a spouse. Waiting for God to open a door for ministry that they have seeking for a long time. Waiting for God to take them deeper into His will for there life. Waiting for God to meet their needs, heal their body, save their kids, ect!

Let me ask you this….are you in God’s waiting room? If so I have two things I really want you to know………

1. EVERYBODY WAITS.

I mean it. I have never met a great man or woman of God that has not waited on what God has promised them. Not only are God’s WAYS not our ways but God’s TIMING is not our timing.

WHEN we do or receive something is just as important as WHAT we do or receive from God.

God loves to HIDE people before He REVEALS them.

Think about it?! He did it with King David in the pasture. Joseph in the prison. Jesus in the workshop with His stepdad.

The hiding is part of not only His plan… but His development process for His sons and daughters. Just as a seed sprouts and begins in the darkness of the ground… so does every dream, calling, and answer begin in the waiting room of God.

Don’t just wait… wait with expectation knowing God is at work in your waiting.

Remember… a diamond is just a piece of coal that was hidden underground for a long time.

2. GOD IS FAITHFUL.

If God has placed something on your heart, He will bring it to pass. If you hve a need, God will meet it! Remember that He is faithful!!!!

1 Peter 5:6 says to Humble yourself under God’s hand and IN DUE TIME… He will lift you up.

I love that it says IN DUE TIME…. what the heck does due time mean… It means on God’s time!

The point isn’t that we are not in control of the timing of God, the point is that God is always faithful to respond and release an answer/blessing to us who wait on and trust Him!

Remembering that God is faithful will help you wait on God’s timing!

1 Corinthians 1:9 God will do this, for he is faithful to do what he says, and he has invited you into partnership with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
